Since October 11th, Montreal’s sky is lit up like never before. Giants lights were installed at the new Quartier des spectacles. The art installation is the work of Rafael Lozano-Hemmer, a Montrealer of Mexican origin. Wherever you are in the city, you can see the lights in the sky. Quite entertaining!
My weekend in pictures!
While the North East was hit by a snowstorm, it was sunny in Montreal. Fall can be beautiful with all its colors. This weekend, I walked around the city and stop at my favorite bars for l’apéro. It’s also getting colder everyday. And when it’s cold, I just love to eat. My favorite: la raclette. Cheese and more cheese please!

Every morning, I walked by a nice little bakery shop that opened a few months a go in Montreal. La boulangerie Guillaume has the best pain au chocolat that you can find in Montreal. Their food is not only good, the place is really nice. It has a modern look that few bakery have adopted.
If you live in Montreal or passing by the city, it’s a must stop!

This weekend, I wanted to do something different. When it’s gray and rainy, it’s difficult to find something to do…
So my boyfriend and I end up going to see the Chinese Lanterns at the Botanical Garden in Montreal. Was very nice, I love lanterns.
Afterward, we stayed in the same theme and we went to have dinner at a very kitsch restaurant called Le Jardin Tiki. You don’t go there for the food but more for the place! The ceiling is filled with vintage lanterns.
